I made something like this before and I called it Lo Mein with Beef and Broccoli. Beef and broccoli is a classic Chinese-American dish that I am particularly obsessed with. But I wouldn't call my recipe traditional. The sauce calls for garlic, broth, soy sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha—ingredients that I personally always have on hand in my kitchen.

Steps to make Beef with Broccoli and Veg:
  1. Dredge the beef in corn starch.
  2. Mix the last 5 ingredients to make the sauce and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in skillet and brown the beef (you dont need to FULLY cook it in this step) just brown on high heat then remove beef from pan.
  4. Add all the veggies to the pan EXCEPT the broccoli florettes. And pour sauce on top
  5. Still on high heat, let the sauce come to a bubble and return the beef into the pan and mix (coating the beef in the sauce)
  6. Place the broccoli florettes ontop, place a lid on the wok/pan and let the florettes steam for 3 min
  7. Serve on rice or noodles.

But I wouldn't call my recipe traditional. The sauce calls for garlic, broth, soy sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha—ingredients that I personally always have on hand in my kitchen. This classic Chinese beef and broccoli recipe is quick and easy to make homemade, and tastes even better than the restaurant version! But the flavor was excellent and I liked the idea of blanching the vegetables and marinating the meat before putting in the wok. I clipped this recipe from Taste of Home magazine several years ago and have found it to be the best-tasting easy beef and broccoli stir-fry.
