- In a mixing bowl take flour, salt, oil, baking soda and mashed potatoes. Combine all well and make a stiff dough.
- In another bowl take shredded cabbage, carrots, beans, cilantro, spring onions.
- Add seasoning to it and mix all well.
- After 30 minutes divide dough in two or three equal balls.
- Take a dough ball and start rolling it in rectangular shape of 1.5 inch thickness. Don't roll it too thin.
- Spread a layer of veggies on it and start rolling the dough in cylindrical shape.
- Make sure you roll it by pressing veggies and tight.
- Then cut equal sized disc from it and press each disc in your palm gently.
- Heat oil in a sauce pan and on a low flame shallow fry tikkis.
